I don’t know if combining with fruit, juice and stevia/agave as recommended by Ashyford would make this taste ok, the most I’ve done is combine it with cereal and milk. Based on that experience:
DO NOT buy this product if you can taste PTC* ([. . . ]). It tastes absolutely vile. Stick with straight Pea Protein, Rice Protein, or a Vegetarian Whey or Egg protein if you’re an ovo-lacto vegetarian. Really, this is so disgusting it’s unpalatable.
* – You can purchase a lifetime supply of PTC paper here at Amazon for dirt cheap. I have NOT tried the chocolate flavor but I have used the VANILLA flavor and I REALLY like it. I combine it with fresh fruit, pure not from concentrate cranberry juice, flaxseed oil, and sometimes stevia sweetener or agave nectar (depending on the fruit base). It is excellent! I am very happy that I found this product and hope the VANILLA flavor becomes available soon.
