Wonderful video! Thanks for sharing that.
Great point about sticking with it for more than a week or two. Most people I know who’ve gone vegan, myself included, tend to eat more processed foods in the first few weeks while they’re getting the hang of it. Then you start to become more brave and begin to try new recipes featuring fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats and open your taste buds up to a whole new world. And, you’re eating way healthier food to boot!
Way to go Carrie. Keep up the good work!
Carrie, your story is so inspiring and I hope that other people who watch your testimonial are driven to try out a vegan diet. It’s the best thing that we can do for our bodies (not to mention animals and the environment).
WOW! What an inspiring story. Being vegan is great for the animals and the environment… being healthy and losing weight is just an added bonus!
Congrats on your amazing transformation Carrie!
You’re wonderful. You seem like a fantasitic person. You also have a fantastic story. I’m a vegan and your story helps me believe that people can change. Well done. Wonderful, wonderful. Never take this video off youtube
@mnlopez79 If you’re a college student, petas vegan college cookbook is easy and cheap!
I have been considering going vegan for my health and weight problem. I am an adventurous eater though not a good cook. Do you have any recommendations for vegan cookbooks?
Awesome speech, congratulations on the weight loss!
This is really inspiring!
I’ve been overweight forever, and I went vegan a couple of months ago and have lost about 15 pounds. I still have a looooong way to go, but that’s the excellent thing about veganism — it really isn’t a “diet”, in the strict sense. I’m doing it to help the animals, and the weight loss and how awesome I feel are just really good side effects.
