Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up each morning during the work week and not have to deal with making breakfast? This weeks recipe is just that! A quick to make, ahead of time, breakfast that will keep you filled up until lunchtime. And to add to this, its also very healthy. It only takes about 30 minutes to make and then you put them in a Tupperware container and they are ready to be consumed throughout your busy work week! By the way, I first discovered this recipe from the South Beach diet. I modified it to my liking. Feel free to add any other vegetables that you like; mushrooms or spinach come to mind.
www. newdietfitness. com Breakfast is possibly your best weight loss aid. The first thing some people do when they go on a diet is begin to skip breakfast, and you might think this is a smart idea since you are eating fewer calories you should lose weight. Your slower metabolism will burn few calories leading to excess weight to go with that which is already stored. When you want to burn fat fast you need to jump start your metabolism every day with a healthy breakfast.
gabrieljoseph. com – So you want to know what a typical hCG diet phase 2 meal looks like? Well, here you go. The hCG Diet (the part of the diet that actually consists of food and calorie intake) is known as a VLCD, or Very Low Calorie Diet, and consists of two meals per day for a total caloric intake of ~500 calories. So basically each meal is approximately 220 – 230 calories each with a fruit in the morning or with lunch and a fruit with dinner or as a snack an hour after dinner. Here are basic guidelines of how you put your meals together: Breakfast: Water, Tea, Black Coffee, no cream – unlimited amount Grapefruit – 1 serving, mid morning Lunch/Dinner: Vegetables – 2 servings, 2x a day Fruits – 1 serving, 2x a day Meat – 3. 5oz lean meat, 2x a day Cracker – 1 serving, 2x a day Lemon Juice – juice of one lemon per day I’m no expert but I think of myself as a relatively intelligent person who can follow directions pretty well. All I did was print off a couple of worksheets from a hCG diet ebook that I got when I ordered the hCG and started filling them in. First was the weekly meal meal planner, than I took initial measurements and wrote down my goals that I hope to accomplish on the diet, then I executed and recorded my plan. Pretty simple. . . Registered Dietitian Joan O’Keefe discusses the importance of a good healthy breakfast. She focuses on why lean protein should be incorporated at every meal. The right start to your morning must include protein. Protein is a complex molecule and it’s bigger than easily digested carbohydrates, so it takes longer to digest. This long breaking down process helps extend the time period before the body begins to raise blood sugar levels. Protein also helps you to feel more full, snack less between meals, and eat half as many calories. Protein doesn’t have to be a difficult thing to have in the diet every morning. Sometimes, leftover dinners from the night before work very well. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a breakfast food; it just has to be a protein source. Beans, nuts, and egg whites are good choices for breakfast. For more information or to view the rest of the Nutrition 101 series, go to www. foreveryoungdiet. com.
