Linda Long and Freya Dinshah, head of the American Vegan Society, celebrating its 50th anniversary ran about the Veggie Pride Parade celebration. The exciting Veggie Pride Parade pops-up every year in May at Union Square in NYC. Founder, Pamela Rice makes the magic happen. After the Parade folks gather for food tastings, vendors, and speeches, and more. You can pick up an assortment of brochures and flyers and learn of other events coming in the city. There is even a soapbox, so if you want to hop up and have a go at speaking your thoughts, you can. Join us in the fun this year on Sunday, May 15th 2011, with the extraordinary Dr. Michael Klaper, who is taking the red-eye from California to be there to keynote on the podium in the center of the Square! A delightful way to spend the day.
