Doctor promoting a green cause


Among the participants at this year’s TIMA conference was a doctor from Malaysia called Lin Lianshui who has been promoting vegetarianism at his clinic for over 3 years. After a trip to Taiwan in 2007, Dr. Lin switched to a meatless diet, and began encouraging his patients and staff to follow suit. Dr. Lin Lianshui. 20 years in medical field. Master Cheng Yen said we are out of time, and it’s a realization I came across. Everyday there is either an earthquake, a typhoon or a flood. I am working so hard to save lives and heal patients’ illness, who is going to heal the earth? ” The power of one person is limited, thus, Dr. Lin decided to promote vegetarianism. TIMA doctor, Lin Lianshui :” How long has it been since you had a stroke? Most of the patients that I treat are either stoke or diabetes patients. It’s all related to their blood.
