www.thepresentmomentcafe.com A friend of mine has been trying to get me to TPM cafe for over a year now. I wanted to go last year for my birthday, but didn’t want to make the drive. From where I live, it’s over 30 miles one way, but today I was determined to experience some raw cuisine. The atmosphere is very quaint. There are tables and tables with booths, seating at the bar, and sofa type seating by the window. The decorative features are very simple, but elegant. The restaurant is rather small. I’m glad I didn’t go on the weekend. Each table is fitted with a carafe of filtered water with a cucumber slice and a lemon slice. The water had a very fresh, clean, unique flavor. The menu is simple, but has a selection that will make any tongue happy. What’s great about a place like this, is that you get to enjoy the simplicity of food. I don’t think it would matter what you eat, you’d be full, but not stuffed and you certainly wouldn’t have that heavy weighed down feeling. The Present Moment serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
