Doomies. Hollywood, CA. Vegan/Vegetarian


Punky vegetarian diner ish place in Hollywood, CA. Doomies was around a couple of years ago but closed. . . and now he is back. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which came with mac n cheese. My thoughts: It was ok. I thought the prices were ok, the food was ok, and the ambiance was ok. Overall ok. Maybe I am getting spoiled, I don’t know. I am stoked that I have the luxury to be spoiled, and I would give doomy another chance.

Low Calories, Non-Balanced Diets – Hollywood Diet, Japanese Diet, Fasting Days

Every weight warrior knows this famous diets. If you still do not know i will explain fast.

Hollywood Diet

Calories limitation is 600-800 calories per day. Information about what you can and can not eat you can find in internet. One can do hollywood diet once or twice a year not to do any harm to health. After each dieting you can lose around 5 kilo. But everything you lost will fast get back if you wont change the whole your lifestyle.

After each dieting you can lose around 5 kilo. But everything you lost will fast get back if you wont change the whole your lifestyle.

Japanese Diet

This famous diet is done in 13 days. For 13 days you exclude sugar, salt, alcohol, floury and confectionary products and drink not limited water. All your diet will be strictly fixed by meals. You can find diet plan above.

Day 1

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: 2 hard boiled eggs, salad made from fresh cabbage with vegetable oil, one glass of tomato juice or one fresh tomato.

Dinner: fried or boiled fish, salad from fresh cabbage with vegetable oil.

Day 2

Breakfast: black coffee with dried crust.

Lunch: fried or boiled fish, salad from fresh cabbage with vegetable oil.

Dinner: boiled beef 200gr, one glass of kefir or yoghurt.

Day 3

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: raw egg, 3 big boiled carrots with vegetable oil.

Dinner: apples.

Day 4

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: one big root of parsnip or parsley fried with vegetable oil, apples.

Dinner: fruits.

Day 5

Breakfast: salad from raw carrot with lemon juice.

Lunch: one big fish (500gr) fried or boiled, one glass of tomato juice.

Dinner: fruits.

Day 6

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: 500gr of boiled chicken, salad from raw carrots or cabbage.

Dinner: 2 hard boiled eggs, salad from raw carrots with vegetable oil.

Day 7

Breakfast: tea.

Lunch: boiled beef 200gr, fruits.

Dinner: any dinner menu from above except day 3.

Day 8

Breakfast: tea.

Lunch: 200gr of boiled beef, fruits.

Dinner: any dinner menu from above except day 3.

Day 9

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: half of boiled chicken, salad from fresh cabbage or carrots.

Dinner: 2 hard boiled eggs, glass of salad made from raw carrots with vegetable oil.

Day 10

Breakfast: salad from raw carrots with lemon juice.

Lunch: one big fried or boiled fish, glass of tomato juice.

Dinner: fruits.

Day 11

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: one raw egg, three big boiled carrots with vegetable oil, 15gr of hard cheese.

Dinner: fruits.

Day 12

Breakfast: black coffee with dried crust.

Lunch: one big marrow fried in vegetable oil, apples, black coffee, dried crust.

Dinner: 200gr of boiled beef, glass of kefir or yoghurt.

Day 13

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: hard boiled eggs, salad made from boiled cabbage with vegetable oil, glass of tomato juice.

Dinner: boiled or fried fish.

Day 14

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: boiled or fried fish, salad from fresh cabbage with vegetable oil.

Dinner: 200gr of bolied beef, one glass of kefir or yogurt.

Mentioned diets can help you lose 5-10kilo (10-20 pounds), some people could manage to lose 20-30 kilo (40-60 pounds) in 3-4 months. It impresses alot, but as we already know it is not hard to lose weight but to keep it small. After stopping diet person gets back 30-50% of lost weight in a first year. More than that diets are hard to maintain and can cause ketosis, skin dryness, hair losing and in 25% of cases developes cholelithiasis.

What about fasting days? Fasting days are good. But only if you do them not more that once or twice a week. In one fasting day you can lose from 500gr to 1 kilo. It is very convenient to use them if you know that you over eat a bit everyday and can not change it. There are seven days in a week, it is ok to make one of them a fasting day. Is it possible to lose weight only by doing fasting days and do no harm to your body? No.

Pam Anderson unveils vegan shake in W. Hollywood


April 9, 2010 West Hollywood, Ca. Pamela Anderson shook up her very busy schedule to make it down to “Millions of Milkshakes” in West Hollywood to create the very first vegan shake now available at the popular milkshake palace located on Santa Monica Blvd. The crowd was eight or ten deep, and frenzied, as the beautiful former Baywatch star, actress, advocate for animal rights, long time active member of Peta, Playboy model, mother of two, appeared swathed in a light, white, summer smock dress and made her way to the red carpet for photo ops, autograph signing, exchanges with fans, and interviews with the press. “I’m thinking of doing one” Anderson replied when asked by Sabina Martinez of HU-TV if she had any plans to do a vegan cookbook. “I want to do a vegan shake, to bring awareness, and draw attention to Peta, [Millions of Milkshakes] and being vegan” she replied to another question about why she wanted make this milkshake. Anderson answered questions for about twenty five minutes before heading inside to create her signature vegan shake. She seemed to have a great time, and the shake really does taste great!
