My journey through Septoplasty (nose surgery) and recovery

I had my surgery October 8th, 2010. Wanted to share my experience for other people who will go through this and are curious about the Radiofrequency Turbinate Reduction method as well. I did not need to have any packing inside my nose with it. So far the people I have spoken to, including my mom who had to have the same surgery when she was about my age, had a slower recovery because of going the traditional way (not to mention the pain of having the packing removed, which I was spared) Definitely ask your doctor about the Radiofrequency method and it will be a better experience for you :) www. laent. com emedicine. medscape. com
